About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 67-year-old man living in Uppsala. The work involves various tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, and accompanying the customer to various activities. The customer is interested in sports and music, and if you are also good at cooking, preferably vegan food, it is a big plus.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 87%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime between 08:00–18:00. During period 1, there are 3 work shifts (scheduled on both weekdays and weekends). During period 2, there are 4 work shifts (scheduled on both weekdays and weekends). The position includes work every other weekend.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: 2026-06-01
