WORKPLACE HAGFORS SCHOOL AREA

The Hagfors school area comprises primary and upper secondary schools as well as adult education. The primary schools are located at Älvstranden Education Centre in Hagfors, Kyrkhedens School in Ekshärad, as well as in Sunnemo and Råda. The upper secondary school and adult education are located at Älvstranden Education Centre in Hagfors. The position is based at Älvstranden Education Centre in Hagfors, covering grades 7–9.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a special needs teacher with a focus on mathematics.

As we are a developing organization, we face constant changes. Students have different needs and prerequisites, which requires us to have good flexibility and structure. Our mission is to support students in achieving the goals of the compulsory school, which requires you to work actively towards the organization's goals for good goal fulfillment. Good leadership skills are a must, as you will lead and motivate students towards lifelong learning.

The role involves being a support for students in need of adaptations and special support, as well as supporting individual teachers and work teams in planning and monitoring teaching. We also see that you can be a support to our student health team and hold some time in mentorship.

It is a prerequisite that you enjoy working with students and in teams. You communicate easily and have a great interest in meeting people with different backgrounds and prerequisites. You have a good ability to build good relationships with colleagues, children/students, and peers. As a person, you are characterized by a positive attitude and a solution-focused approach.

According to the School Act (2010:800), a certificate from the National Police Board's criminal record register is required to work in preschool, school, or childcare. The form is available on the National Police Board's website.
