Axeltorp Nursing Home is a full-service residence for people with dementia, located approximately 20 kilometers south of Kristianstad. The home consists of 32 apartments spread across four units, all on the ground floor with their own outdoor spaces. All meals are prepared in the home's own kitchen.

At Axeltorp, you will be part of a team that jointly is responsible for providing individual care and service to our residents.

Your duties include assisting and supporting residents with care, activities, exercise, outdoor visits, and medication management. We strive to highlight the abilities our residents still have to make their days meaningful, as well as to engage them and create participation in daily life.

You will also be involved in developing implementation plans, documenting, conducting regular evaluations, and contributing to the operation delivering high quality. We monitor results in national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert.

Requirements for the position:

• Nursing and care education according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements to obtain the protected professional title "undersköterska" (assistant nurse).
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (or proof of a pending application).

Additional information: As of July 1, 2023, "undersköterska" is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate is required to use the title within healthcare and social care. We prefer that you have work experience within dementia care.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, evenings, and weekends according to a rolling 6-week schedule, or alternatively night shifts according to the same schedule.

Permanent employment at 75–100%.

For permanent positions, we always apply a probationary period of six months.

Start date by agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
