Do you want to work with people, coaching, and labor market initiatives where you make a real difference?

We at Ability are now looking for an engaged and driven supervisor to join our team in Umeå.

About the position

As a supervisor with us, you will work within the ROM2 (Rusta och Matcha 2) and KVL initiatives. The role involves supporting and guiding job seekers towards employment or studies through individual conversations, coaching, planning, and employer contacts.

The work is varied and requires good communication skills, structure, and a genuine commitment to people and their development.

Responsibilities

  • Individual coaching and guidance
  • Matching with jobs and studies
  • Contact with employers and educational providers
  • Documentation and administration according to the Swedish Public Employment Service's guidelines
  • Creating plans and follow-ups
  • Motivational conversations and support to participants
  • Collaboration with authorities and other actors

Qualification requirements

To be approved as a supervisor for the ROM2 and KVL positions, you must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with a passing grade
  • At least three (3) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Work leadership with personnel responsibility
    • Recruitment
    • Transition work for job seekers
    • Study and career guidance
    • Processing of personnel matters (not just administration)
    • Work with working life and labor market issues
    • Work with social and group psychology
    • Career guidance
