Do you want to work close to the management in a complex and socially vital organization – together with an engaged team? You will be employed as an administrator with duties as Executive Secretary.

The Secretariat Unit is a central support function within the region that works closely with management and operations. Work here is characterized by collaboration, a high pace, and a shared responsibility to deliver quality in all aspects.

You will work in a team of four people where you help each other, cover for one another when needed, and share knowledge and experiences. Together, you will support the regional management and ensure that operations run smoothly and professionally.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you with a secondary education. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and it is an advantage if you have good knowledge of English. We are seeking an experienced administrator.

It is desirable that you have completed administrative training relevant to the field. Furthermore, previous experience of similar tasks and good knowledge of M365 are seen as advantages. Experience of working in an executive committee as well as in a politically governed organization is also positive.

We place great importance on personal qualities. We are looking for you who, with a structured, service-oriented, and flexible approach, take initiative and proactively support the manager and the executive committee in planning, coordination, and implementation of operations.

What you will work with

In the role of Executive Secretary, you work closely with members of the region's executive committee, primarily the Director of Health and Medical Care, the HR Director, and the IT/MT Director. In supporting the directors, you participate in planning, coordinating, and preparing various matters and meeting forums. You are responsible for minutes/protocols as well as document management. You will be involved in development work, strategic work, and act as a support in this. You are an important hub in the operations and contribute to creating structure, good foresight, and efficient management.

You participate in the Director of Health and Medical Care's executive committee as well as in the Sussa cooperation group meetings where the region is the chair, and have a central role in planning, coordination, and follow-up.

In order to be an important link for both internal and external contacts, you maintain certain registers and contacts, such as NRF, SKR, and Norrbotten Municipalities. You are available for questions and information from both employees, external contacts, and citizens. Examples of other tasks include environmental scanning, archiving, and diariing of necessary documentation.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent position with a probationary period, full-time, and daytime hours. Start date as soon as possible. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
