Description

Stjärnskolan is a newly built lower secondary school with approximately 280 students. The operations include both regular primary school and adapted primary school, as well as associated after-school centers. We are a multicultural school where we actively work with core values and language development to create a safe, inclusive, and educational environment for all our students. The school is organized into work teams based on grade levels, and we are now looking for you who want to become part of the work team for Year 2. You will work as a resource teacher, where you, in close collaboration with class teachers, plan and implement support measures for students in need of extra guidance and stimulation.

With us, you will receive good support from both colleagues and management, consisting of the principal and deputy principal. The school also has a full student health team including a special education teacher, counselor, and school nurse.

Responsibilities

• Support students in their knowledge development in close collaboration with class teachers.
• Provide extra support to students in need of adjustments, both in the classroom and in smaller groups.
• Act as a recess supervisor and participate actively during breaks.
• Prevent and handle conflicts with a calm and professional approach.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching together with the work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for lower secondary school.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term appointment until February 27, 2028.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record register is a prerequisite for employment.
