RESPONSIBILITIES
To meet new legislation, we look ahead to meet future demands on social services capable of handling society's various challenges.
This includes working for cutting-edge foster care and a child-rights-based approach where the child's voice and participation are central.
As a Child Welfare Social Worker in Hörby Municipality, you are responsible for following up and ensuring that children and young people placed under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) receive the support and care they are entitled to. You work based on the BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum) model and are responsible for planning, follow-up, documentation, and child conversations.
The work involves you:
- Conducting regular conversations with the child and following up on the child's situation in the foster home
- Collaborating with custodians, foster homes, and other actors in the child's network
- Developing and following up care plans and implementation plans
- Working closely with foster care social workers in the tripartite parenthood
- Participating in meetings and collaboration with schools, healthcare, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), and other interventions
- Documenting and analyzing the child's needs and development
You will become part of a team with four Child Welfare Social Workers and three Foster Care Social Workers, where you together work for sustainable and high-quality foster care. We offer a clear structure, collegial support, and close leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply must be a social worker and have experience working in authority functions with children and young people. It is meritorious if you have worked with placed children or have experience in foster care.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Working hours: Daytime.
