The Business Area (VO) Imaging and Function at Skåne University Hospital encompasses the specialties of medical radiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine as well as clinical neurophysiology and neuroradiology. Parallel to our clinical activities, we have a large educational and research operation.

The Gastro- and Uroradiology Section at VO Imaging and Function is a comprehensive diagnostic department with MR and CT diagnostics, conventional X-ray with fluoroscopy, as well as large units for ultrasound diagnostics and gastrointervention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a specialist physician in medical radiology for VO Imaging and Function with placement at the Gastro- and Uroradiology Section.

At our department, work includes several modalities within gastro-radiology. You will also participate in multidisciplinary conferences, work with interventions within uro-radiology, and work with ultrasound. Various types of education and supervision are also included in the position.

The main place of work is Malmö. Employment may also take place in Lund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and:

• Specialist competence in medical radiology or equivalent.
• Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale.
• Completed or planned course in clinical supervision.

As a person, we see that you have good cooperation skills with both medical colleagues and other professional categories. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

At a university hospital unit, it is required that physicians have pedagogical experience and education. This you may have acquired through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students as well as physicians in training, and as co- or main supervisor of doctoral students. Clearly describe in your application completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience of supervision and teaching at different levels.
