About the role

As a Family Home Consultant with us, your primary responsibility is to investigate, supervise, and train our foster homes. You act as the central hub around the placed child and serve as the professional support ensuring that care maintains high quality and that foster homes have the tools they need for their mission. You will be part of a team of colleagues, work closely with therapists, and lead the network surrounding the placed child, which consists of various professionals. As a Family Home Consultant with us, you are part of a treatment effort in complex, resource-intensive assignments.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conduct thorough investigations of new foster homes.
Provide qualified supervision to existing foster homes.
Educate and prepare families for their mission.
Documentation and written reporting in accordance with current legislation.
Collaborate with social services and other relevant actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a deep understanding of the complexity of foster care. To be considered for the position, the following are required:

Social Work Degree: You have completed an education with a passed degree.
Supervision Training: You have specific further education in supervision directed towards foster homes.
Experience: You have at least three years of documented experience working with foster care.
Investigation Competence: You have practical experience in conducting foster home investigations.
Linguistic Ability: You have very good knowledge of Swedish, with a special ability to express yourself well and legally sound in writing.
Driver's License: A Class B driver's license is required as travel is involved in the role.
