The Gynecology Clinic at Skånes Centralsjukhus Kristianstad is a specialist clinic within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We offer gynecological specialist care, reproductive health services, abortion services, as well as follow-up and support for patients who have been victims of sexual abuse. Here, doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries work in close collaboration to create safe, professional, and accessible care.

Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified staff, with approximately 2,600 dedicated employees. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the proximity and community feel of a smaller one. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a midwife here, you will work with a clinic for patients with gynecological complaints. The role includes your own clinic, abortion services, contraceptive counseling, support within reproductive health, as well as follow-up and support for patients who have been victims of sexual abuse. You will also work with telephone advice and handle various cases in 1177. You are also expected to actively participate in improvement work and the development of the clinic's routines to ensure high-quality and safe care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. It is a requirement that you have Swedish language skills of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, as well as basic IT skills. Experience in gynecological care, abortion services, or working with patients exposed to violence and abuse is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have experience with the medical record systems Obstetrix, PASiS, and Melior.
