About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Our customer is a 54-year-old woman living in Ystad. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home. Our customer is interested in music, city walks, and being out in nature.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience with mobility aids and physiotherapy
• Previous experience working with people with brain fatigue
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical fitness
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Non-smoker

Merits for the position:

• Experience in similar work within healthcare/care

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 50%. The position involves work during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends. The working hours are varied: 09:00–13:30 and 16:10–20:30, with 15 minutes of on-call time at each work shift.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start date immediately or by agreement.
