The Business Area (VO) Adult Psychiatry Kristianstad provides outpatient care in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Simrishamn, and Ystad. The emergency clinic and all inpatient care are located in Kristianstad. For residents of Ystad, Skurup, and Sjöbo, inpatient care and emergency services are offered in Malmö and Lund. Our catchment area comprises the northern and southeastern municipalities of Scania, with a total population of approximately 300,000 people. We collaborate closely with the municipalities through joint meetings and care planning. Despite our wide geographical spread, our operations are characterized by proximity and short decision-making paths.
The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Ystad is a well-functioning, fully staffed, and stable operation where we care for each other and our patients. We assess and treat patients with affective disorders, psychotic illnesses, anxiety conditions, depression, as well as various personality syndromes and neuropsychiatric conditions. We provide stepwise and individually adapted treatment both in groups and individually to meet the needs of our patients. You will join a team of approximately 50 employees who are genuinely interested in providing the best possible care for our patients. We work in cross-professional specialist teams to collectively address patient needs. The team consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, care assistants/therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, medical secretaries, and social workers.
Our clinic is constantly evolving and is working on implementing standardized care processes and a person-centered care approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES
A beloved colleague is going on parental leave, and therefore we are now looking for a psychologist to join our clinic!
In this role, you will meet and treat patients from all of our teams. Responsibilities include assessment interviews, investigations, diagnosis, and psychological treatment. You will see patients both individually and in groups. The work also involves joint assessments with doctors, team conferences, consultations, and collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers and other operations.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with the eligibility to work within the Swedish healthcare system. Additionally, you must have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is meritorious if you have experience from general psychiatric outpatient care and/or psychotherapeutic treatment with CBT, as well as knowledge of the systems Melior and Våps. We welcome both those who are more experienced in your professional role and those who are newer and interested in our operations.
As a person, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and self-driven. You have good collaboration and communication skills and value the social work environment. Furthermore, you have a good ethical approach and a respectful attitude towards both colleagues and patients. You also enjoy working with and developing operations together with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Assistive devices are tasked with managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Scania. Within the administration, there is also vision, hearing, and deafness operations, as well as youth clinics in Scania.
