Job Description

As a secretary within social assistance, you will investigate and decide on maintenance support in accordance with current legislation. The role involves a clear focus on supporting clients towards activity and self-sufficiency. You will do this in close collaboration with internal and external actors such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Region, as well as internally with the Employment Unit.

You will become an important part of the development to meet activity requirements and will help transform the operations into a more preventive and easily accessible social services department. You should have the ability to balance official authority with relationship-building, reaching further by engaging people in their own change process. You look at the big picture with the motto of creating conditions for positive change. We work with participation and quality in a respectful way towards those we meet.

Qualifications

We welcome you who have a degree in Social Work and a Category B driver's license. If you have previous experience working as a social secretary in official authority roles, it is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have training in FREDA or Violence in Close Relationships.

We are looking for you who want to develop the methods and approaches of the operations, with the goal of creating a legally secure and high-quality social service. You are flexible and can adapt your working style to the type of cases, while having a strong drive to develop and contribute to continuous learning.

Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and care about building good relationships. You are humble and have understanding for other people's life situations. You also have the ability to work independently in your case handling and take great responsibility for the official authority work you perform.

Requirements:

• Primarily a degree in Social Work, or a university degree that the employer considers equivalent to a Social Work education.
• Personal suitability
• Driver's license for manual transmission vehicles (Category B).

Merits:

• Experience from official authority work within social services.
• Work with SIP and FREDA.
• Experience of work within official authority.
