Örebro Waldorf School is located in Adolfsberg, adjacent to Sommarroparken, and is run by the non-profit Johannaskolan Foundation. The foundation's mission is to promote Waldorf pedagogical activities. This also includes Waldorf Preschool Viljan and the after-school center Björken.

We are an F-9 school (grades 1-9) with 180 students and are looking for a new school counselor. We are seeking a candidate with a degree in social work. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the psychosocial work in the school, together with the teachers. You will help remove obstacles to student learning and ensure that students are well and develop positively in accordance with the school's goals regarding development, knowledge, and health.

As a school counselor, you will be part of our student health team, which also includes a special education teacher, school nurse, school doctor, and school psychologist. The main task of the student health team is promotional and preventive health work. The work is led by the principal. As part of a multi-professional team, you will contribute your specific expertise and knowledge.

You have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, and are skilled in relationship building and collaboration. You can work independently and prioritize your activities effectively. You have good proficiency in Swedish and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with a start date in August. A probationary period applies. Personal suitability is of great importance in the hiring process. Recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis during the application period.
