The Åhus Health Centre, with the Vä branch, is the health centre with the big heart. We are an accredited healthcare unit and have a doctor's office, district nurse office, elderly care office, diabetes office, and asthma/COPD office. In addition, we have assistant nurse-led offices, physio- and occupational therapy, child health services, a counselor, and a dietitian. We also offer advice and support to a nursing home as well as municipal home care.

We are a medium-sized health centre with approximately 25 employees. Our ambition is to provide the best possible service and high-quality care to our approximately 8,200 registered patients. The unit has a long tradition as a training unit characterized by a good work climate and a clear spirit of development. Looking ahead, we also see that the Åhus Health Centre will be merged with Vä, which will become a branch of Åhus. This is an opportunity that will expand the medical staff and increase collaboration.

Geographically, you will find the Åhus Health Centre between sea and forest, and it is also close to Kristianstad. It is excellent to get to us by public transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work at a health centre with developed structure and clear treatment guidelines. With us, you will have a varied job where you are given the opportunity to fully utilize your specialist competence through tasks at, among others, our district doctor's office and child health services.

Here you are offered good development opportunities with continuous internal and external training based on interest and in line with the unit's needs. You are involved and driving in improvement work and business development. The development of mobile doctor support is ongoing and is part of the position.

You also work with home visits, supervision of trainee doctors, advice and support to municipal nurses, specialist nurses, and our special housing. The position may offer the opportunity to work in on-call activities at the evening and weekend clinic in Kristianstad.

We encourage side assignments such as AKO work (clinical effectiveness), participation in drug committees, quality work, and similar, as we consider it enriching for the business and positive for the work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed physician with permission to work in Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in general practice. Furthermore, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. A valid B driver's license is also necessary as travel for work occurs.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care and child health services. It is an advantage if you are accustomed to using various business systems, especially the medical record systems PMO, Pascal, and other systems common in primary care. Using IT support such as 1177 increases patient safety and contributes to faster communication with the patient.
