IGS Assistans AB has recently won the tender for personal assistance in Region Gotland and is therefore now looking for personal assistants for several assignments on the island.

About the position

We are now looking for more people who want to work as personal assistants for our client in Visby. The assignment concerns a man in his 60s living in Visby, inside the ring road.

Do you have a sense of humor, positive energy, and are you a down-to-earth person who wants meaningful work? Then you have found the right place!

The working hours are scheduled as two shorter shifts per day, approximately 2–3 hours each. One in the morning/forenoon and one in the evening. We therefore prefer that you live near the client. The working hours may suit you if you want to combine work with another job or studies. We welcome applications from those who wish to work full-time, part-time, or as a substitute when needed.

You start the employment with a hourly contract, but there are good chances of getting a permanent schedule if the chemistry between you and the client works out.

As a personal assistant, you provide individually adapted support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client is present. The tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include personal care, support in daily routines, transfers, and accompaniment to activities and errands.

There is also an opportunity to work with several clients, either in the same location or in different locations around Gotland.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience working as a personal assistant (experience is requested)
• Are responsible, sensitive, and have a professional attitude
• Are cheerful and positive
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have the ability to work flexible hours
• Do not have issues with smoke odor

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and respect for the client's self-determination and privacy.

Terms of employment

• Terms of employment according to the collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage as agreed

• Valid ID must be presented before the contract is signed
• Extract from the Police Register (for children with disabilities) must be presented before employment
