Spångbergsgymnasiet in Filipstad has ten national programs as well as the introductory program IM. In total, there are approximately 300 students at the school. Regardless of the program, we work together as a unit with the same values. Working with young people on their way to adulthood and adults who are upgrading their skills is the best there is! Responsibilities

The role involves being the students' teacher in the subject of mathematics based on the goals set out in the governing documents for courses on national programs as well as the introductory program. You work and are involved in developing the education. You are also a mentor for students and are part of the work team and subject team. Mentoring is a central part of the work at the school, where the responsibility for following up on students' study situations requires structure and initiative.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a graduated/authorized upper secondary school teacher in the subject of mathematics, and we preferably see that you also have qualifications in Swedish as a second language or other subjects that the employer deems suitable for the position.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities; we are looking for you who are positive, curious, and reflective. You have a genuine and engaged interest in working with young people. You need to be aware of how different adaptations can look and be flexible in trying out different pedagogical approaches at the individual and group levels. You should have good communication and collaboration skills with both students, guardians, and colleagues. We value experience, creativity, and commitment. You are structured and want to work to develop quality in education and create good learning environments.

Conditions

The position is 80% but may vary in scope depending on the subject combination.
