Do you want to work in an international environment with a clear pedagogical vision?

International English School has made a significant difference for our students for 30 years. We are convinced that this is due to our clear ethos of dedicated and present teachers, which creates an environment where everyone works towards common goals. We have a strong culture built on proven routines. Here, teachers can focus on teaching and learning. The students are at the center, and all students are our students.

At International English School, we are a team pulling in the same direction. To enjoy working with us, you should share our belief in the importance of clear values, collegial learning, and common routines and approaches.

IES is proud of its employees and has developed a method to create a calm and safe school environment. This allows our teachers more time to share their knowledge, both with students and colleagues. Your own teaching is conducted in Swedish, but colleagues speak English among themselves.

Job Description

We are now looking for a certified teacher in Social Studies (SO) for a temporary position during the fall semester of 2026. The position is full-time. A probationary period of 6 months applies.

Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teacher colleagues, support pedagogues, and after-school staff. Our mission is to jointly lead and support the students in their social and academic development. In the team, the pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day.
