We are now looking for social and positive assistants for a cheerful woman who lives with her partner in Eastern Grevie/Vellinge. She has a brain injury and needs your support.

Our client needs help with daily chores, but it is important to her that she tries to manage things on her own. You will help her with training – both physical and mental, as well as with motivation to train. She has difficulty with memory, but with your support and some hints, it usually works out. Our client enjoys solving crosswords, Yatzy, and other games. Other interests include cooking, going for walks, and photography. You will be offered friendly colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates her assistants.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

It is important that you are self-assured, stress-resistant, energetic, and have great patience. We preferably see women as applicants since our client feels most comfortable with them. If you have worked with Turner syndrome and have experience with stroke, meningitis, and care, it is a plus. The ability to take initiative but also be a team player is important.

You will accompany the client on various outings, as well as attend visits to healthcare providers such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists. You will receive medication delegation and an individualized introduction/training in all aspects regarding the client's care needs and routines.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours as we in the work group cover staffing if someone gets sick or is on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Desirable Experience

• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Experience in care and social work.
• Driver's license.
• Experience with stroke.

Working Hours/Percentage of Employment

• Three different positions; please specify which position(s) you are interested in when applying.
• Part-time approx. 30 hours/week, fixed-term for the duration of the assignment.
• Temporary position with the possibility of working until next year at approx. 30 hours/week.
• Summer temporary position, with the possibility of staying on as hourly employees after the summer.
• Start immediately.
• Shifts are scheduled daytime 07:00–19:15, active night 19:00–07:15.
