About the Role

As a psychologist at Amplius Omsorg, you work with qualified psychological interventions for children, young people, and families within our operations: Residential Care (HVB), supported housing, foster homes, and open care. The role involves close clinical work where you have the opportunity to focus on what matters most – the children's well-being, development, and needs. We have a clear ambition to create conditions for psychologists to work with a focus on quality in the meeting with the child and family. The clinical work is varied and challenging; you work with children both individually and together with parents or other significant adults. The work includes assessment, treatment, and investigation, as well as supervision of other professions. You meet children with complex social and psychiatric issues and perform differential diagnostic assessments and investigations. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the foundation of the day-to-day treatment work.

An important part of the position is the opportunity to influence how the treatment work is structured in the operations. We value psychological competence highly and see the psychologist as a central part in the development of working methods, treatment plans, and care for the children. You will become part of an experienced healthcare team consisting of licensed psychologists, child psychiatrists, licensed psychotherapists, and licensed nurses. The work is characterized by close collaboration, collegial support, and joint clinical reasoning regarding the children's needs.

Working hours are during the day on weekdays. Your base is in Höör and Tjörnarp where our residential care facilities are located. The position involves some travel within Skåne and Blekinge.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed psychologist with at least 5 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents
• Have a genuine child perspective and strong clinical qualifications
• Are used to working independently and thrive with significant personal responsibility
• Are engaged, curious, and want to influence and contribute
• Communicate well and are a natural educator towards colleagues and clients
• Have good collaboration skills

Meritorious:

• Specialist education
• Supervisor education
• Doctoral education
• Experience from Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Residential Care (HVB), habilitation, or other operations for children and young people
• Good experience working with methods such as ABA, DBT, CBT, and PBS
• Education in trauma-informed care

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good computer skills and experience with social documentation
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
