This is a direct recruitment role, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Bravura and you will be employed directly by Dr. Oetker.

Dr. Oetker is a family-owned food company with roots dating back to 1891 and operations in over 40 countries. In Sweden, the company is a pure sales entity with strong positions in the grocery retail sector.
Dr. Oetker is now making a clear and long-term investment in the HORECA market (hotels, restaurants, and catering) as a new strategic growth channel. This initiative is already established in several Nordic countries and is now being fully launched in Sweden. This combines international experience with Nordic collaboration and a strong local mandate.
You will be the first dedicated role within HORECA in Sweden and will report to the Head of Sales Sweden. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the Nordics as well as support from central functions in analytics, marketing, and sales.
Responsibilities
As Key Account Manager for Dr. Oetker, you are responsible for establishing and developing the business within the foodservice market in Sweden. The role is new to the country and entails overall responsibility for building the channel – from strategy and prioritization to operational sales and negotiation.
In the early stages, there is a strong focus on identifying the right entry path into the market. You will analyze which chains, customers, and wholesalers are most relevant to target initially and develop a clear plan for how the business should be built step-by-step. The work is carried out in close dialogue with the Head of Sales and colleagues in the Nordics, where HORECA is already established and experiences can be shared.
You work actively with both end customers and wholesalers. This means driving dialogues with key decision-makers at hotel and restaurant chains, while understanding and managing wholesalers' requirements regarding margins, volume, and structure to achieve listing. Negotiation, calculations, and business decisions are a natural part of everyday life, where you have a clear mandate within given frameworks.
The role combines strategic work with a strong operational component. You visit customers personally, demonstrate products, plan and attend trade fairs to market the products, run trials, and follow up on deals. At the same time, you are responsible for setting goals, monitoring sales and profitability, and developing processes and working methods for the channel over time. In the long term, there is an opportunity to help shape how the organization around HORECA develops further.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Establish and develop Dr. Oetker HORECA within the foodservice market in Sweden
- Identify, prioritize, and target key chains, end customers, and wholesalers
- Drive negotiations, pricing, and work towards listings and customer trials
- Develop and monitor sales and marketing plans as well as budget and KPIs
- Collaborate closely with Head of Sales, sales analysts, and Nordic colleagues to build the business long-term
Education, experience, and personal qualities
- Post-secondary education in economics, sales, or marketing
- Experience in sales within the HORECA sector
- Established network and good relationships with wholesalers and/or chain customers
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Very good Swedish and good English skills, both verbal and written
