RESPONSIBILITIES

The position primarily involves teaching students in year 2 and year 3, with both practical and theoretical instruction in the core subjects.

You organize, conduct, and evaluate your teaching both independently and together with other teachers within the transport specialization. You also actively work on assessing goal fulfillment and coordinate with other staff, which is then communicated to the student. You are expected to actively participate in the joint teamwork and collaborate with all staff.

In your role, you will teach students in the Vehicle and Transport Programme with a specialization in Transport. Your tasks include theoretical and practical teaching with our upper secondary students in year 2 and 3. Part of the students' teaching is work-based learning (APL), and planning, follow-up, and assessment of this are included in the responsibilities. The pedagogical assignment includes planning, evaluation, and pedagogical documentation, as well as mentorship. The Vehicle and Transport Programme works in teams, and you are welcome to a team with a high level of ambition and a positive atmosphere. The work is characterized by good cooperation with the students' learning and the program's development in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree from a university college of education and teacher certification with eligibility in subjects included in the transport specialization.

We are primarily looking for you who are an approved driver examiner, but also for you who are willing to train to become one. We would appreciate if you have current experience working as a professional truck driver with a trailer. Meritorious is if you have any of the instructor courses/certificates for truck-mounted cranes, ADR, wheel loaders, forklift risk training 1. At least a CE driver's license and an updated YKB (Professional Competence Certificate) are required.

Furthermore, we see that you are a person who actively wants to participate in the development of the transport education. For you, modern technology is a natural choice in your role as an instructor and teacher, and you use digital technology as a natural tool for learning and communication. You practice student-centered leadership and work for the students' participation in the design and content of the teaching.
