Samskapa is growing and needs to strengthen its operations with two additional therapists in Sölvesborg.

Our target group consists of young people of varying ages without ongoing substance abuse or criminal activity. The young people often have complex social problems combined with neuropsychiatric disabilities, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or experienced trauma. Outwardly acting-out behaviors occur, which is why secure adults are needed who see behind the behavior and stay when it is difficult.

About the role:

In the role of therapist, you create safety, structure, and a home-like environment for our young people while building trusting relationships that promote their development and well-being. The work is varied and includes everything from daily chores and relationship-building conversations to individually adapted treatment interventions based on each young person's needs.

You work independently with great personal responsibility, but are simultaneously part of a non-hierarchical team with accessible leadership, supervision, and access to specialist support. Together, you take joint responsibility for the young person's development and create a safe and sustainable daily life. The position also includes documentation according to current legal requirements and close collaboration with social services and other key actors around the young person.

Location: Sölvesborg

Working Hours: 24-hour shifts

Scope: 85%

Employment Type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period

Start Date: Immediately or by agreement

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education of at least 2 years within social work (e.g., treatment/social pedagogue or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent)
• Experience from similar work with children and young people covering at least 1 year
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written
• Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Education and/or experience in low-affective handling as well as threat and violence situations
• Educations or shorter courses adapted for neuropsychiatry or other aspects of the described target group
• Knowledge in clarifying pedagogy (Teacch, AAC, PECS, or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of BBIC/IBIC
• Experience with different journal systems and documentation
