Work Tasks

As an interim LSS case worker, you will work based on both the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL), primarily social psychiatry. The target group within LSS is all ages, from children to adults, while within SoL, it is persons from 18 years of age.

With us, you will have another engaged colleague who investigates, decides on, and follows up on measures within the LSS area in the municipality. You will have close contact with a driven unit manager and an interested provider organization. At the Assistance Unit, there are colleagues within other public authority functions for adults, such as assistance case workers within elderly care, social/psychiatry case workers for supported housing, etc., who will help you find your footing with us. We are keen on ensuring the introduction is the best possible and place great emphasis on planning this to meet your specific needs.

As an LSS case worker, you will, among other things, meet with users, providers, relatives, and external collaboration partners. We consider it important that the dialogue works with all parties involved in the case, collaboration is fundamental, and there is also the ability to balance the official role, legislation, and applications from the individual or their relatives. We work from a holistic perspective with the individual's needs at the center (IBIC). We base assessments carefully and are keen on following up on measures. As support in your work, we have regular team meetings, case supervision, and close contact with both colleagues and the unit manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work. You need to have good knowledge of current legislation and legal practice in the area, preferably experience of public authority functions within LSS and SoL.

As a person, you need to enjoy meeting different people and collaborating with others, have high social skills, be able to create clarity, and inspire trust. A dignified and respectful treatment is fundamental to your personality, and great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

You will work in the business system Treserva and base your work on IBIC. If you have prior knowledge of these, it is meritorious.

CONDITIONS

  • A B-driving license is desirable.
  • Skurup Municipality is a smoke-free workplace.
  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
