Personal Assistant for 19-Year-Old Girl on Bolmsö – Temporary Position Available

Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to successful assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

I am a 19-year-old girl living on Bolmsö with my family. Born with cerebral palsy (CP), I need some extra support in my daily life. I require help with everything from hygiene to daily living activities.

Key qualities: Sensitivity, respect, openness, and reliability.

I am looking for an open-minded person, as I am engaged in both LGBTQ+ issues and the equality of all people. I have, among other things, lectured on what it is like to live with a disability. To get along well with me, it is important that you are open to differences. As I am at the beginning of my career, you will also be a helping hand at work. It is important that you can step up when needed, but above all, that you know when to step back and let me take the lead.

Interests: Skiing, music, and film. I am a big fan of "Young Royals" and Omar Rydberg.

You will be part of a team, so it is important that you are a team player and understand that helping each other is crucial for me to manage my daily life. Assistive devices used include a lift and a wheelchair.

One of my assistants is currently on leave until the summer. Therefore, I am looking for someone who can cover at least 1 day shift per week on a weekday until the summer. During the summer, there is an opportunity for full-time summer work for the right person.

Requirements:

• Female, aged 20–40
• Fluent in Swedish
• Experience working in healthcare
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car

Shifts are scheduled throughout all hours of the day, including evenings and weekends. Shifts may vary but consist mostly of 24-hour shifts (9 AM to 9 AM). We are looking for temporary staff!
