We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Platform Engineer to join their internal IT organization. About the role

You will work as a Platform Engineer in a small, cross-functional team within an agile structure. The role involves contributing to both technical development and knowledge sharing within the team. You will also participate in automation, testing, and establishing QA processes to ensure the highest quality standards in deliveries. The work takes place within an innovative project focused on new technology to future-proof the business. The role involves close collaboration with several teams and business areas to ensure requirement fulfillment and management of technical interfaces. It is an environment that promotes creativity and innovation, where your technical competence and ideas can truly make a difference. You will have the opportunity to influence and help develop solutions from idea to deployment. The work is conducted in sprints with a focus on delivering value incrementally.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and document technical solutions and products
• Implement and package deliveries
• Work with FinOps
• Contribute to automation, testing, and establishing QA processes

The work takes place in an environment with high regulatory requirements, encompassing several international compliance frameworks such as NIST, NIS2, and other security standards.

We are looking for someone who

• Has approximately 3-6 years of experience in the field.
• Has experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Has experience working with containers and Kubernetes.
• Is a team player with good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Has a strong desire for continuous development and thrives in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Desirable competencies:

• Experience with cloud computing services.
• Understanding of networking and application load balancing.
• Experience with Open source / FOSS.
• Experience with IaC tools.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Rust, Golang, Java, C# / C++.

Additional information:

The team works primarily remotely with the support of virtual tools, but some physical presence may be required for team days or as needed. Flexibility exists to work from various offices or hubs depending on geographical location.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations, which in some cases may include requirements for security classification and specific citizenship requirements.
