This is a role for you who have experience from the industry and want to share your knowledge with the next generation of technicians. You do not need to be a robot specialist; the most important thing is that you have broad competence in automation, control systems, electrical engineering, or industrial production, and enjoy working with people and learning.

About the Education

Robotics Technician is a two-year Higher Vocational Education (YH) program focusing on industrial automation, control systems, PLC, robotics, and modern production technology. The education is developed in close collaboration with the industry and is based on the competence needs within Swedish industry. The teaching takes place via distance learning with recurring physical meetings in Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Malmö.

About the Role

As a teacher with us, you play a key role in training future technicians and automation specialists. You work together with other teachers and educational leaders to plan and conduct teaching in areas such as automation, PLC, control systems, industrial electrical technology, and production technology. Depending on your background and experience, modules within robotics and industrial systems may also be included. We are primarily looking for you who can contribute practical experience from the industry and help our students understand how technology is used in reality.

The role involves both teaching and some administration, such as documentation, contact with students, and grading. You will become an important part of a smaller team with close collaboration and good opportunities to influence the content and development of the education.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct teaching in automation, PLC, and industrial technology
• Guide and support students in their learning
• Contribute to maintaining high quality and relevance for the industry
• Collaborate with companies and industry contacts
• Participate in the development of the education's content and structure
• Handle some administration related to the education and students

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in automation, PLC, electrical technology, control systems, or industrial production
• Have practical experience from the industry
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting others in their development
• Are pedagogical, communicative, and structured
• Have good computer skills and experience with Office365
• Enjoy combining teaching with administrative tasks
• Fluently speak and write Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience in teaching or supervision
• Experience in robotics technology or industrial robots
• Experience from higher vocational education or other technical educational activities
