Working at a funeral home is more than just a job – it is a position of trust.
At Klarahill in the West, we are currently looking for a transporter who wants to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be highly involved in the logistical tasks of the funeral home, which requires a high degree of responsibility, respect, and calm, secure conduct.
As a transporter with us, you will have a varied job where no two days are the same.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Casket preparation/embalming assistance: Preparing the deceased and arranging them in the casket with respect and care.
- Pick-ups and transport: Transporting the deceased from hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences to the mortuary or church/chapel. Also includes various urn transports.
- Logistics and planning: Coordinating driving schedules and planning efficient routes in consultation with your colleagues.
- Warehousing and vehicles: Responsibility for receiving deliveries of caskets and urns, managing our inventory, and keeping our transport vehicles clean and in good condition.
