We are now looking for a substitute manager for our Dog Daycare in our day activity center in Södertälje, with a possibility of extension.

About the organization

JATC Community Health Care has been operating LSS (Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups) activities for 30 years. Our intention is to offer a secure and manageable context with a meaningful everyday life, based on each participant's unique abilities.

Our target group consists of young adults with neuropsychiatric functional variations and some activity limitations. We offer a creative holistic concept: housing, day activities with market-oriented workplaces, and an active leisure time.

Today, we have activities in Strängnäs, Järna, Södertälje, and Nynäshamn. Our clients are primarily municipalities and regions. Most of our participants are covered by the LSS Act and the Social Services Act.

About the job

Job Duties: Supervisor/Manager

We are looking for someone who can serve as Manager registered with the County Administrative Board.

We have many different activities in our day activity center where various personal talents and interests become qualitative tools in our care work.

The operation is flexible. Some of our daily activities are ongoing, such as dog daycare, creative workshop, music studio, media/data, and a gym that includes our health project. Some activities are worked on in shorter project forms depending on the group and individual interests, such as stable service.

The duties include pedagogical tools, individual action plans, documentation, low-arousal approach, solution-focused and coaching attitude, as well as follow-up of interventions.

Qualifications

• High school education, with preference given to studies in animals, Care & Assistance, or Child & Leisure with a social focus
• Education in dogs/dog training/dog daycare
• Previous experience within LSS
• Knowledge/experience within psychiatry, NPD diagnoses, and people with activity limitations
• Good computer skills, as we register patients and report time digitally
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Class B driver's license

Other

Working hours are during the day.

Physical activities with participants occur. Since the day activity center runs a Dog Daycare and stable service, you should not be overly sensitive to animals with fur. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
