A Treatment and Resource School

Eviaskolan is a small resource school providing treatment for middle and high school students with problematic behaviors. We are located in Västerhaninge and on Södermalm in Stockholm. In August, we will also open our new school in central Gothenburg. The treatment interventions we provide are based on a learning psychological perspective, both in groups and individually during the students' school day. They are carried out by staff with competence in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

About the position

The school's students consist of young people aged 12-17 with neuropsychiatric disabilities (ADHD, ASD) as well as behavioral problems such as aggressive and/or defiant behaviors and isolation.

As a social pedagogue/resource person, you will support the students in their schooling by being available as help and support during group teaching, individual teaching, during breaks, excursions, and similar. You are part of the treatment regarding the students' behavioral problems and skills training. You collaborate with both teachers and therapists, and are involved in various practical tasks.

About you

As a person, you are calm, stable, positive, and capable of creating good relationships with students. You take initiative and responsibility, are attentive and accommodating in your approach, and have good cooperation skills. It is an advantage if you are trained as a social pedagogue, have experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), have experience working with the target group, and experience working in a school environment.
