We are looking for personal assistants for a 14-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, PICA syndrome, and an intellectual disability. He lives in Tyringe with his family and requires supervision during all waking hours, as well as support with daily activities to ensure they are carried out effectively.

His leisure interests change frequently. One week he may want to play with his toy cars, while the next week he might be interested in playing with a collection of cleaning supplies. He needs space to be left alone but must remain under supervision. He is very creative and has a strong interest in creative activities such as drawing, baking, working with clay, or building things out of paper and wood. He also enjoys fairy tales and watching films. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are genuinely interested in engaging with and learning about the member's interests.

The member receives personal assistance to manage his daily life, which, in addition to school and hobbies, involves dealing with challenging behaviors. In these situations, you will need to guide and support him through moments that may be difficult for him to understand. You will be working in double assistance throughout all waking hours, making collaboration with colleagues essential.

We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, and resourceful. Your main task will most days be to stay one step ahead of the member, whether that means preventing challenging behaviors or actively engaging him in positive activities. Previous experience with low-affective (calm and supportive) interaction is an advantage.

The position is approximately 50%. Shifts vary in timing but are usually between 12:00 and 07:45. You will have every other weekend on a fixed schedule. During the night, you will be on call from 22:00 to 07:00.

We are also looking for individuals who are willing to step in as hourly substitutes when regular staff are sick or on leave.
