Do you want a meaningful part-time job where you contribute to real change?

HVB Väster is now looking for more part-time employees who want to be part of our dedicated and caring team and work with young people in need of support, structure, and stable adults.

HVB Väster is a residential care facility (HVB) with three places for girls aged 13–17. We offer 24-hour care with housing and daily nursing. The target group is girls with norm-breaking behavior, NPD diagnoses (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), or behaviors resembling NPD symptoms. Each young person has a contact person who holds structured conversations, but the entire work group shares responsibility for care and daily tasks.

As a part-time employee, you work closely with the young people in their daily lives. The tasks include, among other things:

  • Providing support and guidance in daily routines and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training.
  • Creating structure, security, and predictability.
  • Supporting social interaction and activities.
  • Working according to agreed-upon methods together with colleagues.
  • Contributing to the young people's change process through a low-arousal and relational approach.

This part-time position offers the opportunity for valuable experience within HVB and social work, continuous support from the team, and a job where you can truly make a difference.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure in themselves and thrives in a role where relationships are central. You can handle stress constructively and maintain calm and good interaction even in challenging situations.

You are relationship-building, solution-oriented, and have the ability to quickly find working solutions when problems arise. You are responsible and enjoy working together with others towards common goals.

Competency requirements:

  • At least a two-year post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
  • Category B driver's license for manual cars.

Previous work experience in similar tasks, for example within HVB, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), or other treatment activities, is meritorious.
