About the role
Do you want to be part of an organization where relationships, security, and development are at the core?
At Arendalagården, we are looking for dedicated treatment assistants who wish to work with young people in need of support, structure, and guidance.
About Arendalagården
Arendala HVB AB offers a safe and stable environment for young people who have experienced boundary-crossing behaviors, such as drug use, occasional criminal offenses, and/or exposure to unsuitable environments. We work according to a holistic care chain with a focus on individual needs, relationship-building, and methodical treatment work.
We base our approach on low-affective interaction and utilize methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), ACRA, B12, Connect, and trauma-informed care (TMO). Our goal is for the young people to feel safe, seen, and equipped with the tools they need to build a future.
The Role
As a treatment assistant at Arendalagården, you will:
- Work closely with the young people and support them in their daily lives, school/employment, and leisure activities.
- Create and maintain a safe and stable environment through relationship-building and clear boundaries.
- Use evidence-based methods to support the young people's development and well-being.
- Collaborate in a team with colleagues, managers, and external actors such as social services and healthcare.
- Document and work based on implementation plans.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant education (e.g., social pedagogue, social worker, or other education within care and treatment).
- Training in KSL (Crisis Support, Medicines, Safety) and Repulse.
- Experience working with young people in HVB (residential care), supported housing, or other social activities.
- Knowledge and experience of low-affective interaction, trauma, and MI are meritorious.
- Ability to build good relationships and work both independently and in a team.
- Good documentation habits and knowledge of social work.
- A valid B-class driver's license is required.
We offer
- A meaningful and developmental job where you make a difference every day.
- Continuous education and supervision within Västerbotten's methodology.
- An engaged team where we support and develop each other.
- Opportunities for permanent positions and varying working hours (day, evening, weekend, sleeping on-call).
