Personal Assistant sought for active and happy 11-year-old boy in Halmstad

We are now looking for secure and engaged personal assistants for a happy, active, and energetic 11-year-old boy with autism/NPD diagnosis.

Our boy enjoys being active and appreciates outings and various activities in daily life. Some of his biggest interests are riding in the car, being outdoors in nature, visiting playgrounds, walking around in stores, as well as singing and dancing. He is routine-bound and sensitive to changes and noise, which means he needs a calm and secure adult who can create structure and stability in daily life.

He needs support and supervision in everyday situations as well as help with, among other things, toilet visits, dental care, and nail care. Self-harming behavior occurs, so it is important that you are attentive, secure, and calm in your work.

Working hours:

The working hours vary and are scheduled during all hours of the day with sleeping on-call duty.

We are looking for someone interested in:

• Extra work as needed

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with children, personal assistance, or autism/NPD diagnosis.
• Has knowledge of low-affective handling
• Is calm, secure, and responsible
• Is flexible and responsive to the child's needs
• Can create structure and security
• Is creative, active, and initiative-taking
• Has a manual driver's license (requirement)

Experience with visual supports and/or PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) is meritorious.
