We are now looking for an engaged, playful, and responsible personal assistant for a 4-year-old girl with extensive care needs who lives with her parents in Halmstad. The girl is happy, curious, and socializes with her close ones. She has a great need for support in her daily life, and that is where you come in.

About the role

As a personal assistant, you are an invaluable part of the person's life. You work closely with both the girl and her parents in the home, helping to create safety, joy, and structure in everyday life. You need to be empathetic, flexible, and attentive to the child's signals and needs.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal hygiene and daily care
• Help with meals
• Assist with dressing and undressing
• Actively participate in physical exercises and training
• Transfers with the help of assistive devices
• Support with alternative communication
• Accompany to social activities
• Be a safe and present person during play

We are looking for someone who

• Is secure, empathetic, and playful
• Is flexible and self-reliant, but also a good team player
• Has experience in personal assistance, care, or with children with disabilities (meritorious but not a requirement)
• Is a non-smoker
• Speaks and understands Swedish in speech and writing
• Speaks Arabic (meritorious but not a requirement)

We would appreciate it if you could start immediately, but we are of course open to finding a start date that works for both parties.
