Vårdcentralen Östermalm is located in central Kristianstad as the only publicly operated health center in the area, situated in newly renovated old hospital buildings with a lovely charm. There are good commuting opportunities by train and bus, for example, Skånetrafiken lines 1, 3, and 4 stop right outside the health center.

We operate a business with several different own clinics for doctors, nurses, counselors, assistant nurses, psychologists, and dietitians. There are specialist clinics for asthma, diabetes, mental ill health, and an elderly care clinic. We have a very well-functioning Child Health Center (CHC) with both pediatricians and general specialists who offer high-quality care and support to both children and families.

At the health center, we are approximately 36 employees with a lovely work climate where we constantly work on well-being and care for each other and our approximately 8,500 registered patients. We believe it is important with competence development for all our professions. We also have five housing facilities connected to our health center for which we are responsible for providing advice and support. The collaboration with the municipality and their nurses and our own elderly care nurse works very well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a specialist doctor and want a varied and meaningful job. With us, you work primarily with outpatient services, which includes both planned and acute visits. You are responsible for providing safe, quality care and contribute to the whole through supervision of both students and colleagues.

We drive an active change work to create new, efficient ways of working, and you will become an important part of the continued development. You have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge within areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, or other special areas that suit both your interest and the organization's needs.

We work in teams and the recruitment is an expansion of the unit. We have many resident doctors (ST-läkare), which makes interest in supervision especially welcome; internal supervision within other professions also occurs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed doctor with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. We are addressing you who have completed your specialist training in general practice. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position. We consider it meritorious if you have previous experience of working in primary care as well as supervisor training and/or experience of supervision. If you have experience of development work, this is also meritorious.
