We are looking for summer substitutes!

Östagården HVB targets boys aged 15–20 with risks or experiences of substance abuse, addiction, social difficulties, and emerging criminality. We work based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with elements of the 12-step program. We are located just outside Tärnsjö in a wonderful working environment, within walking distance to a lake, football field, mini-golf, and more.

We are seeking staff with relevant education or experience who wish to work part-time. We offer day shifts, 24-hour shifts, and weekend shifts.

We have a stable permanent staff group with the same goal: to offer each individual high-quality treatment in a secure environment. At our facility, relationship building begins on day one. Our work is guided by our core values: Respect, Care, and Structure – R.O.S.

You will receive a thorough introduction where we will cover our structure, routines, and frameworks, as well as the specific challenges and conditions of each individual.

We are fortunate to have our own housekeeper who prepares meals from scratch. We emphasize pedagogical mealtimes, meaning all staff on duty eat together with our youths.

You will be involved in daily chores such as daily and weekly planning, facilitating or participating in group sessions, and having individual conversations with the youths. You will support them according to their needs. All activities are documented in our journal system.
