Are you passionate about teaching in lower primary school? Are you curious about the preschool class (förskoleklass) operations? Then you might be our new colleague!

Who are we?

Ektorpsringen is the central school in the Ektorp district. We are a school under development, and from autumn 2026, we will be a two-stream F-6 school (grades preschool class to year 6). The school facilities are well adapted for the operations and were inaugurated in 2019.

At our school, the value base is central to all our work. We strive for all students to succeed in their education by aiming for high goal fulfillment. We work to support students' abilities and knowledge development based on individual prerequisites. To support this work, we use clear structures for the design and content of lessons. Our goal is for all students to develop as much as possible!

For the past three years, preschool teachers and teachers for grades F-3 have worked in teams within the preschool class, where the teachers follow the student group through year 3. We are now looking for a teacher for grades F-3 to join one of our preschool class teams. The position is a temporary assignment (vicariate) for the academic year 2026/2027 with the possibility of extension.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching for students in the preschool class. Together with your closest colleague, you will have class teacher responsibilities, where contact with guardians is a natural part of the role.

You will collaborate closely with your closest colleague and other colleagues at the unit. Through pedagogical conferences and daily meetings, you will exchange experiences and help each other become better in your profession.

The value base work is ongoing at the school, and you are expected to contribute to implementing and maintaining this work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for teaching in grades F-3. You have experience teaching in lower primary school and preferably in the preschool class. You have previous experience working with students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

Since you will work to ensure students have good language development, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

As a person, you are reliable and meet the requirements and expectations set, and you take responsibility for your performance. You set high quality standards for yourself and those around you. You are also open to new ideas and working methods.

Furthermore, you have an easy time building good relationships and collaborating with those you meet in your work, where your focus is always on the student's best interest. You convey information clearly and securely, adapt your language to the recipient, and ensure that everyone understands. In this way, you build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

You are flexible and can easily adapt when needed. In stressful situations, you can maintain your calm.

We look forward to receiving your application!
