We are expanding with a new specialization in the Construction and Infrastructure program – we are therefore looking for a sheet metal worker for our team!

Sheet metal work is a new specialization with us, so here you can help shape the education to make it as good as possible for our students. You will collaborate with another teacher responsible for the sheet metal program as well as external partners. Together, you will have the opportunity to build and develop our new specialization.

Job Responsibilities

You will be a mentor for the students and take responsibility for everything included in mentoring. Your tasks as a teacher will consist of planning, teaching, examinations, grading, and evaluation. Teaching takes place in the vocational program, both in school-based education and in apprenticeship training. You will participate in and work in work teams as well as subject groups. You will visit students during their APL (workplace-based learning) and, together with supervisors, assess the students' efforts and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Vocational teacher with qualifications to teach in the Construction and Infrastructure program, specialization sheet metal work.
  • Applicants without formal vocational teacher education are also welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal work.
  • You are creative, flexible, and have good knowledge within the professional field.
  • You combine theoretical knowledge with practical work tasks.
  • You have the ability to motivate students in their learning and communicate in a positive, attentive, and clear manner.
  • You are skilled at building good relationships with both students and parents and colleagues, and are open to collaboration.
