Educator for Les Mélodies – Starting in August

Les Mélodies is a small, French-Swedish preschool located in central Stockholm (Östermalm, near Karlaplan). We have 26 children, a dedicated team of six educators, and a principal. We operate as an economic association and a parent cooperative, fostering close collaboration between staff and parents with high engagement and involvement in the activities.

We offer a safe, creative, and language-rich environment where the child's curiosity and joy are at the center. We work in small groups with a high staff-to-child ratio, focusing on each child's individual development.

The parent cooperative at Les Mélodies is now seeking an educated preschool educator with a start date in August 2026.

As an educator here, you will work alongside curious, dedicated, and experienced colleagues. You will actively contribute to creating a safe, inspiring, and educational daily routine for the children, sharing responsibility for the operations and the pedagogical environment.

We are looking for someone who is present, flexible, and positive, with a genuine commitment to children's development and learning. You thrive in a collaborative environment but are also capable of working independently. You are well-versed in the Swedish preschool curriculum and have the ability to implement it in practice.

About the position:

• Fixed-term employment for 1 year
• Work in a small and tight-knit team

We are looking for someone who:

• Is engaged, responsible, and positive
• Has experience working in a preschool and a genuine interest in child development
• Thrives in a small setting where you can influence and contribute
• Has fluent Swedish at a native level, both spoken and written. This is a mandatory requirement.
• French is a strong asset
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish preschool curriculum
• Personal suitability is highly valued.
