We are now looking for an engaged Registered Nurse (District Nurse) or Child Health Nurse for a combined position with us in Svedala.

Our health center opened in August 2024 and is in an exciting phase of development. Here you will have a varied job, close colleagues, and good opportunities to influence your daily work. We offer a workplace with high ceilings where we constantly strive to improve our processes and develop our operations.

Specialists in general medicine are available at the health center. We have clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, rehabilitation, counseling, occupational therapy, and dietetics. We also perform travel vaccinations.

Part of the Family Center in Svedala

As an employee with us, you will also become part of the Family Center in Svedala – a meeting place for expectant parents and families with children aged 0–6 years, which started in January 2026. Here, several important operations are gathered under one roof to create support, security, and community for families in the municipality.

The Family Center is run by Svedala Municipality together with Svedala Health Center and consists of:

• Open preschool
• Social counseling
• Child Health Center
• Midwife clinic

This creates unique opportunities for close cooperation between different professions and a holistic perspective on the child's and family's needs.

About the position

In this role, you will work part of your time at the Child Health Center, where you meet families with children and work with health checks, counseling, vaccinations, and preventive child healthcare.

The other part of your time you will work at the health center with standard nursing tasks such as clinic work, telephone advice, and patient-focused interventions.

This is a varied position where you get the opportunity to work with patients of different ages and life situations, while simultaneously becoming an important part of the development of our operations.

About you

You who apply are a licensed Registered Nurse (District Nurse) or Child Health Nurse and are confident both personally and professionally. You have a patient-focused approach and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have a professional manner, put the patient in focus, and understand the importance of good service, accessibility, and quality in the meeting with each individual.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and has a good ability to prioritize in a sometimes fast-paced work environment. You thrive in a varied role where tasks may change during the day and where you can quickly adapt based on the needs of the operations.
