We are now looking for personal assistants for a customer living in Lomma.

About the job as a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks generally involve assisting the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

The customer has a broad interest in music, cooking, gardening, and being outdoors. The customer also has a cat that is an important part of daily life.

About the position

We are now looking for a personal assistant for one of our customers in Lomma.

The customer has had a stroke and is wheelchair-bound, which means you will be helpful with transfers and in daily life. The customer also has low vision, which requires you as an assistant to be attentive and act as a support in navigating daily life.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Medication management
• Support with household chores
• Social support and accompanying on activities

Tasks

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with transfers, household work, cooking, to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.

Working hours

Shifts are scheduled as 24-hour shifts (09:00–09:00) and day shifts depending on needs, seven days a week.

What we are looking for

We are looking for you who are responsible, empathetic, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the customer's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The form of employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly wages. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
