A little about us

Forskolan Gläntan is located in close proximity to large natural areas in Sätra, with access to Lake Mälaren.

Our goal is to nurture safe, curious, creative, and proactive children who find joy in learning and exploring together with others through play.

Our preschool works with learning for sustainable development and teaches based on the national curriculum, inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy since 1994. With the same leadership and owner (Moa Gehlin), we guarantee high quality as well as a structured and safe preschool that follows the latest developments in the world of early childhood education.

According to Moa Gehlin, a key part of the success at Forsholan Gläntan is the staff's conscious approach towards children and sustainable learning. The goal is a preschool with co-researching, active educators who encourage and inspire children to ask productive questions.

Regardless of which prioritized goal the preschool works from, the foundation of the work is that children should learn by discovering and experimenting in unique environments.

Our team consists of happy, energetic, and creative people: six preschool teachers, one atelierista, and five childcare assistants.

Forsholan Gläntan is a meeting place with three departments for children aged 1–6.

Job Description

The position is full-time. The daily work consists of participating in the pedagogical work and being involved in the preschool's activities.

We see you as someone who helps build and develop learning environments with your own ideas that inspire and invite exploration and play, where the children are always at the center.

Here you will meet engaged and competent colleagues and have access to digital tools, continuous competence training, and a clear organizational structure.

You cannot get a better boss and leader if you want to develop in your role as a childcare assistant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• It is an advantage if you are a graduated childcare assistant, or alternatively, have started studies in the field.
• The ability to see opportunities and enjoy challenges.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
• The focus on children is clear and reflected in your approach in everyday life.
• That you are engaged, professional, and proactive in your professional role.
• That you are a responsible and structured person with good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
• That you are clear and have a solution-oriented approach to work.
• The ability to create engagement and spread joy of work around you.
• We particularly welcome male childcare assistants as we want a mixed group of male and female childcare assistants.
