We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer for a contract position with a client in Stockholm. You will be part of a team responsible for the operation, administration, and development of a comprehensive network environment with several geographically dispersed sites.

In this role, you will work both operationally and developmentally with the network infrastructure. The environment is large-scale, consisting of approximately 400 switches and 2,000 access points. You will contribute to troubleshooting, improvement, and further development of the network, together with an experienced team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field
• Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience as a Network Engineer in large and complex environments
• Experience in network design and security work
• Good knowledge of switching (troubleshooting, VLAN, trunking, LACP, STP)
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches and access points
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
• Experience with WAN and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF) in complex and redundant environments
• Knowledge of secure authentication (Cisco ISE, Radius, PKI, 802.1x, TACACS+, MFA)
• Experience with VPN and firewall solutions, preferably Fortinet
• Knowledge of L2 over L3 (VXLAN or MPLS)
• Experience with DNS/DHCP (Infoblox, Bluecat, or AD)
• Experience with version control (Git, SVN)
• Ability to read and troubleshoot scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
