About the role

We are now looking for childcare assistants for fixed-term positions at our preschools in Södermalm and Hammarby Sjöstad. We are looking for you who, together with us, want to continue making our preschools even better! At our preschools, we have high ambitions for our children's learning and development, and our work is characterized by high engagement. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy, which means we see children as competent and active citizens in society, whose thoughts and opinions are important. Through joint collegial reflections, we meet each other's thoughts and grow in our profession. For us, it is important that you, who want to work as a childcare assistant with us, feel curiosity about your assignment. A day at the preschool is filled with different meetings between children and educators. Every meeting is significant and part of the child's security, development, and learning. Therefore, we want to take advantage of this to make the preschool safe, educational, and joyful for everyone. You are a childcare assistant who is good at this. You make children feel joy in making progress and overcoming difficulties. You have the ability to see how children can learn in all everyday situations and challenge them through play and fantasy where they are.

We are looking for you who:

• have experience working as a childcare assistant in preschools
• it is positive if you have experience with a Reggio Emilia-inspired, exploratory working method
• believe that every meeting is significant
• are curious and co-researching
• want to learn together with the children
• see every day as an educational adventure together with the children and colleagues
• are confident in the preschool's steering documents

Employment type

• Fixed-term position during the autumn term until 2026-12-31, with possible extension
• Scope: the position is 100%
• Start date: 2026-08-03
• The positions are located in Södermalm/Hammarby Sjöstad
