At Vårdcentralen Tornet, approximately 34 dedicated employees work together to care for around 7,600 registered patients. We have a broad range of competencies, including specialists in general practice, ST and AT doctors, as well as a well-knit team of nurses and district nurses.

Our operations include several specialized clinics, including an acute line, asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, and smoking cessation. We also have a family center with a Child Health Center (BVC), which allows us to offer support and care for the whole family. We also have counselors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We work in interdisciplinary teams that hold rounds once a week where we review patient cases together.

Job Description

As a nurse or district nurse with us, you will have a varied and stimulating role involving work at your own clinic, telephone advice and triage, as well as within our elderly care clinic. You will meet patients with different needs and work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions.

An important part of the job is telephone advice, where you use your competence and professional judgment to make medical assessments and guide patients to the appropriate level of care. You contribute to safe and accessible care with a focus on quality and continuity.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education as a district nurse. It is also a requirement to have good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a district nurse or nurse in primary care.

We are looking for you who are service-oriented and always put the patient's needs first. You have a genuine interest in people and good communication skills, which enables you to meet and support our patients in a respectful and secure manner. Furthermore, as we are a smaller workplace, we value your ability to collaborate and flexibility in tasks. Your willingness to contribute to the team's common goals and your adaptability are crucial for us to be able to offer high-quality care together.
