We are now looking for an Orthotist to join our team in Linköping. In Östergötland, we are currently active at three hospitals: the University Hospital in Linköping, Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping, and the District Hospital in Motala. We currently have a total of approximately 45 employees, with 19 based in Linköping. Through our agreement with Region Östergötland, we provide orthopedic technical care to the region. At our units, we also have shops adjacent to the orthopedic technical department, catering to the growing privately funded healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities

As an Orthotist, you will help patients with the analysis, adaptation, and prescription of orthopedic technical aids. You will work broadly with a certain focus on pediatric aids. A common feature across all our units in the region is that orthopedic technical care is provided in close collaboration with specialized care and primary care. In patient care, you will be part of a team consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. On-call duties will be part of the role, where you will assist patients in all areas and age groups. You are offered a varied job where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a certified Orthotist (Leg. Ortopedingenjör). It is meritorious if you have experience working clinically as an Orthotist and/or if you have worked with pediatric aids. You have good computer skills and fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. As a person, we would like you to be communicative, service-oriented, and flexible. You are responsible and have an easy time building good relationships. We also value that you are self-motivated, creative, and meticulous in your work. The Employment

Full-time, permanent. A 6-month probation period applies. Start date by agreement. We have a collective agreement.
