We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to join a data platform team within a large organization. You will work closely with an Information Architect to translate business concepts and information models into concrete, scalable solutions within the data platform.

This role combines hands-on development with architectural decision-making, giving you significant influence over how data flows, models, and principles are designed moving forward.

• Implement data models based on the business's information model

• Design and develop data pipelines from source systems to Snowflake/Databricks

• Ensure data quality, traceability, and observability

• Contribute to architectural choices, patterns, and principles for the data platform

• Collaborate closely with the Information Architect and other data roles

• Support and mentor junior team members

• Robust and scalable data modeling (e.g., dimensional or Data Vault)

• Efficient and optimized pipelines in Snowflake/Databricks

• Implemented frameworks for data quality and traceability

• Documented data flows and models linked to the data dictionary

• Contributions to improved architecture and development principles

Required Competencies:

• Several years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect in an enterprise environment

• Strong experience with Snowflake (SQL, modeling, performance, security)

• Experience with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake)

• Experience with Azure (e.g., Storage, Data Factory, DevOps)

• Experience with dimensional modeling and/or Data Vault

• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks

• Experience with data contracts and data quality frameworks

• CI/CD in data platforms

• Domain knowledge in construction, real estate, industry, or similar

• Experience with Power BI

• Structured and solution-oriented

• Strong collaboration skills bridging technology and business

• Ability to take ownership in complex data environments

• Communicative and pedagogical in dialogue with the team
