Kurera Omsorg is a young and modern care company with three business areas: Personal Assistance, Individual and Family, and Rusta och Matcha. Our headquarters are located in Malmö, and we also have offices for personal assistance in Västervik and Stockholm.

We are looking for engaged personal assistants

We are looking for engaged personal assistants for a young woman born in 2009 with autism and intellectual disability (ID). She needs extensive support in her daily life, both practically and socially, and we are looking for you who can create security, predictability, and build a long-term relationship.

About the client

She does not communicate with spoken language, but interprets images and body language, and shows what she wants by pointing, showing pictures, or taking adults by the hand. She is clear in her way of expressing herself, but needs adults who can read her and support her in expressing herself and understanding her surroundings.

She needs structure and clear routines and may have emotional outbursts during sudden changes or misunderstandings in communication. Therefore, she needs adults around her who are calm, predictable, and experienced in handling emotions with low affective response.

Scope of support

• Support and supervision during all her waking hours from a few secure and well-known adults.
• Help with communication, personal care, and all daily activities.
• Companion during outdoor activities, walks, and transport.
• Someone who is attentive to sensory input, as she is sensitive to sound, light, and movement.
• An environment with calm and structure, where she can feel safe and understood.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people with special needs. Experience working with autism, low affective response, or clear pedagogy is meritorious. You should be patient, sensitive, physically stable, and confident in yourself. You can work independently, but also in close collaboration with guardians and colleagues.
