Hotel Statt is looking for you if you love hospitality and your energy and joy are contagious. Experience in hotel work is required.

We are looking for a star for our hotel reception. We are looking for someone who is brave, cheerful, and structured, with a strong sense of hospitality and sales. Your main task is to provide our guests with an experience beyond expectations.

In the spring of 2017, the historic Stadshotellet changed owners, and with it, we transformed from an old city hotel into the modern meeting facility Hotel Statt, with an international and pulsating atmosphere. The hotel is owned by Room Republic, which also includes Åhus Seaside, V Hotel (Hbg), Grand Hotell in Halmstad, and Hotel Feliz and Palma Suites (Palma). We are part of Signature Collection by Best Western. The owners, Kjell and Karin Jakobsson, have completely renovated the 93 rooms, the Lobbybar restaurant, lobby, event floor, and conference department over the past few years – in other words, the entire hotel!

Responsibilities

• Reception duties such as checking guests in and out, answering phones, receiving bookings, handling invoicing, answering emails, etc.

• Handling conference and group bookings.

• Serving food and beverages.

• Supporting all departments in the hotel.

• Maintaining the highest level of service and competence, ensuring guests are always greeted with joy and helpfulness.

• Always leading by example and being a role model for other colleagues.

• Being knowledgeable, up-to-date, and proficient in the hotel's fire and safety routines.

• Working towards a sales culture within the department.

• Working actively and engaged to achieve your individual, departmental, and hotel goals.

• Overall hospitality.

• Active participation in departmental and information meetings.

• Cleaning of public areas.

Who are you?

Requirements: Experience in hotel work. A major advantage if you have worked with Hotsoft.

• You thrive in a high-paced environment, you dare to ask, and are willing to take initiative.

• You have good teamwork skills and value teamwork.

• You are a humble, status-free joy-bringer with a twinkle in your eye and a very "Yes" attitude.

• You have experience in hotel work.

• You are computer literate and preferably have experience with booking systems, extra points for Hotsoft.

• You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.

• Several years of experience in service within hotels/conferences.
